What to expect
You’ll be coming to see me inside Tonsorial Parlor and I know trying a new salon can feel a little intimidating, especially when you’re not sure what to expect. I want your first visit to feel easy, comfortable, and totally stress-free. Here’s a little info to help you feel prepared before you come in.
The Pre Visit
Your experience begins the moment you request an appointment. Once you complete your new client questionnaire and book your visit, I’ll be notified right away. I’ll personally review your information and reach out within 24–48 hours (Monday–Friday) if I have any questions before your appointment.
As your visit approaches, you’ll receive a confirmation email and text 48 hours prior with the option to confirm or reschedule. You’ll also receive friendly reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before your appointment.
When you arrive at the salon, please note we do not have a front desk receptionist. You’ll be greeted by me or one of our amazing stylists and we’ll get you settled in right away
The Consult
Communication is everything. Every visit begins with an in-depth consultation where we’ll talk through your hair challenges, goals, lifestyle, and preferred level of maintenance. Your color, placement, and haircut will be fully customized to you and your needs.
I begin each appointment with a check-in, giving you space to share any changes or concerns so you always feel heard and confident. Before we get started, I’ll walk you through our game plan and ensure we are 100% aligned on your color and overall vision.
I want your time in my chair to feel relaxing and luxurious. While I work my magic, you’re welcome to unwind with a selection of complimentary sweet or savory treats, along with beverage options to keep you fueled and hydrated. WiFi and iPhone chargers are always available.
Most first-time appointments take 3–5 hours. You’re welcome to bring your laptop, read a book, chat with me — or enjoy a silent appointment if that’s more your vibe. My goal is to make sure you feel completely comfortable and cared for throughout your visit.
Before your appointment, I recommend browsing Pinterest or my Instagram for inspiration. Bring 1–2 photos of colors or styles you love, and even 1–2 of what you don’t love. This helps us create a clear, shared vision for your dream hair.
The After
After your color appointment, I recommend waiting 24–72 hours before washing your hair. This allows the color to fully settle and gives your hair cuticle time to relax, helping preserve your results and longevity.
We’ll stay connected on social, and please never hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. Your satisfaction means everything to me, and I always want you to feel confident and in love with your hair
